I started this project in 1985 and worked on it regularly, during lunch hours, for 6 years or so. Then it got set aside except for occasional bursts of enthusiasm. This quarter I decided to get it done. The last of the stitching took less than 5 minutes, the framing was done by professionals (can’t you tell?). It is done and on the wall!
And I LOVE it! Thanks for the much needed nudge.

Very nice finish! I enjoyed cross stitching when I was young, and so I really glad there are some cross stitch finishes at this FAL linky party! It’s making me want to pick it up again! .
