Sometime over the past few weeks our snowman windsock became plastered to the roof. It is frozen in place. This was likely due to a combination of wind, rain and icy yuck (delicately referred to as wintry mix by our local meteorologists).

Yesterday I noticed the snowman is upside down. This made me think of how a flag is flown upside down to indicate distress.

This winter has been brutal. Not sure whose joke it is that our snowman is upside down but I’ll take it!
