The Quilt of Valor presentation is tomorrow, I finished this quilt yesterday. So excited to honor my friend, a Viet Nam veteran who plays guitar. He regularly shares his gift at a local coffee house and other venues around town.

Most of the quilts at the ceremony will be red, white, and blue. That’s OK, this is the perfect quilt to honor him.
The star sashing was designed by Marti Mitchell and came alive by using her Sashing Stars Set. And the knitting instructor at my LQS helped me choose the sashing fabrics. As I explained to her, I did not need help with the execution, I needed some color consultation.
I am so pleased to complete the commitment most recently made here: https://ponderingitall.blog/2019/04/18/2019-2nd-quarter/
It was so kind of you to make this quilt for your friend. Thank you for participating in the FAL, on behalf of the 2019 global FAL hosts.
